STORY TRAILS SOCIETY

Story Trails Society is an indigenous led non-profit organization based in the traditional territory of the Quw’utsun Peoples. The core mission of Story Trails is to partner with local communities to develop and offer Land-based healing infrastructure and youth job creation opportunities rooted in connection, community, culture, Language learning, and reconciliation. Each initiative is designed to inspire engagement across generations—youth, adults, and Elders—while fostering deep connections to the Land, cultural practices, protocols, and language.

The Sxwi’em’ Shelh Story Trails Land-based Education Team unites Land-based education specialists, community leaders, and community members to foster cultural learning and connection to the Land. Led by a cultural advisory circle, the team blends Traditional knowledge, community engagement, and experiential learning. Supported by skilled facilitators, each project stream honours Indigenous teachings, strengthens intergenerational learning, and creates meaningful opportunities for all ages.
